Today was a very productive day.. well if you call “breaking the Christmas Tree productive”. Well not technically Alisha just made it sound bad when really it wasn’t. We finally got to putting up our tree. Since we’d been away on holidays we only had the chance to do it today. The tree we have was like $20 when we bought it and we have had it for a few years, anyway, I was straightening out the artificial branches to make it look like a tree.. and one “Small” branch broke off. It wasn’t even noticeable. So what does Alisha do? Humiliate me in front of all our friends.. she posts up that I “broke the tree” way to go alisha! Make me look like a total idiot.. lol. But just to prove to you heres a pic I took of it once it was done.
The pile of presents under the tree is now growing. Alisha, Mum and I went Christmas present shopping today as well. We all ending up shopping for presents in the same store which made it hard when alisha and I were buying Mum and Dad’s present and Mum was buying ours from her and Dad.. LOL.. and just when I thought they were done after taking a present to the car, I go back in and Alisha tells me bluntly to go back to car. She bought mine there, I didn’t see what she was looking at but its now wrapped and under the tree.. its HUGE.. It has to stand upright.. tall under the tree otherwise it wont fit. It makes the present I bought Alisha look like a poor effort, but apparently we spent about the same amount of money on eachother. Im happy about that cause I don’t want her to spend too much on me.. I’ll just have to wait and see what she got me.. its exciting.
We have our family Christmas Party on Boxing Day this year so we will give and get many more presents then. I think Alisha and I are just about done on buying, wrapping and making Christmas cards for all our family and friends.. it seems like the list gets longer every year. But I wouldn’t want it any other way.. I’m so blessed. <3
Just so you know today was soo much better than yesterday I think all the stress of study and the past year just got too both of us. Alisha found out her final results from College today and she is more relaxed now and in holiday mood - lucky her! She did excellent with her Massage course, she is now going onto the Diploma next year. I will tell more another time. I am sooo proud of my twin sis. xo
